Had to ask, didn’t you -- OK. STILES is an old English name for a gate or fence. Bloody English had a lot of rocks laying around so they piled them between two posts and climbed over them to herd their sheep. Ol’ John down by the Stiles told me so -- a hundred or more years ago. See how he got his name?
